Edinburgh

Európa legszebb és leghangulatosabb úti céljai közé tartozik, ez alkalommal az óvárosi részről hoztam pár képet, ami egy mesébe illő környezet. Az óváros a Princess Street-től délre, a vár és a Holyrood-palota között terül el. A Royal Mile-on számos nyüzsgő étterem és kávézó sorakozik, a legérdekesebb látnivaló a Szent Giles-székesegyház.

Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful and most entertaining destinations in Europe, this time I have brought some pictures from the old part of the city, which is a faboulos area. The old town lies south of Princess Street, between the castle and the Holyrood palace. There are several lively restaurants and cafés on the Royal Mile, the most interesting sightseeing the St. Giles Cathedral.

A vulkáni eredetű sziklacsúcson magasodó edinburgh-i vár a város legtöbb pontjáról látható. Edinburgh szinte sértetlenül megmaradt vára, a Royal Mile utca végénél, az óvárosban várja a látogtókat. Skócia és a vár kapcsán rögtön felvetődik skóciai Szent Margit neve. Szent Margit édesanyja nem volt más, mint Szent István király lánya.

The Edinburgh Castle is visible from most points of the city, which is on a volcanic rock peak. Edinburgh Castle, almost intact, awaits visitors at the end of Royal Mile Street in the Old Town. Scotland and the castle are immediately mentioned in the name of St. Margaret in Scotland. St. Margaret's mother is the King of Saint Stephen's daughter.

London - Tower Bridge

Londoni túránk utolsó helyszínéhez érkeztünk, ezúttal a Tower Bridge-ről mutatok néhány képet. Egyik nagy kedvencem ez a környék és remélem a képek láttán ti is kedvet kaptok egy kiránduláshoz. A Tower Bridge egyközúti híd a Temze felett, London északi és déli felét köti össze. Tornyai és a köztük található felnyitható hídszakasz tette különlegessé, napjainkra London szimbólumává vált.

We have arrived at the last venue of our trip in London, this time I'm showing some pictures about the Tower Bridge. One of my favorites is this district and I hope you will enjoy it and based on the pictures you will get some spirit to take a trip as well. Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London. The bridge crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London and has become an iconic symbol of London

London - Canary Wharf

A Canary Wharf egy kiterjedt bevásárló- és üzleti negyed Londonban, amely a Isle of Dogs-on található. Itt van Anglia 3 legmagasabb épülete, a Canary Wharf irodaházait többnyire nagy bankok bérlik. A területen 1802-től 1980-ig a világ egyik legforgalmasabb kikötője működött, mára azonban egy hatalmas üzleti negyeddé alakult. A felhőkarcolókon, és az irodaházakon kívül a Canary Wharf otthona számos remek étteremnek, pubnak, és koktélbárnak. A Greenwich felé vezető úton soha nem tudok elmenni mellette megállás nélkül. 

Canary Wharf is a major business district in east London, which is located on the Isle of Dogs. There are the 3 biggest buildings in England, the Canary Wharf office buildings are mostly rented by large banks. It was one of the busiest ports in the world from 1802 to 1980, but today it has become a huge business quarter. Canary Wharf is home to many nice restaurants, pubs, and cocktail bars. I have never gone to Greenwich without stopping.

Londoni hétvége / London weekend

Ebben a posztban ismét Londonba kalauzollak el titeket, Greenwich után most a belvárosról mutatok néhány képet. A Big Ben a londoni Westminster-palota toronyórájának harangja, illetve az óraszerkezet neve. Egy londoni kirándulás nem lenne teljes a Big Ben, a Parlament valamint a Westminster nélkül, mindenképp szánjunk rá időt. 

I am guideing you to London again in this post, after Greenwich I am showing you a few pictures about the downtown. Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock at Palace of Westminster in London and is usually extended to refer to both the clock and the clock tower as well. In my opinion a trip in London would not be perfect without Big Ben, Parlament and Westminster, spare time for that absolutely. 

 A Hyde Park az egyik legnagyobb park London középső részén, a királyi parkok egyike. Érdemes felkeresni a híres parkokat, közvetlenül egymás mellett terül el négy nagy park, a Hyde, a Green, a St. James, valamint a Buckingham-palota kertjei.

Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London, one of the royal parks. It is worth to visit the famous parks, these are next to each other, Hyde Park, Green Park, St. James park and Buckingham-palace gardens. 

Végül pár szót a park lakóiról, kihagyhatatlan élményt jelentenek a barátságos mókusok, akik a turisták legnagyobb megdöbbenésére olyan szelídek, hogy akár kézből is etethetjük őket.

Finally I would write a few words about the inhabitants of the park, the lovely squirrels, which are so meek, whether we can even feed them by hand.

Ha Londonban jár az ember, ezeket a helyeket feltétlenül érdemes felkeresni, de ne hagyjuk otthon a fényképezőgépet! Ja, és a mogyorót se.. :)

If you are in London, It is definitely worth to visit these places, don`t leave the camera at home! And huzelnuts.. :)

Geo Fotópályázat 

A Föld Napja alkalmából a GEO magazin fotópályázatot hirdetett, amire a következő képeket küldtem be. A pályázat nyilvános, úgyhogy bárki jelentkezhet még pár napig. 

GEO magazine has advertised a photo competition for Earth Day, where I enrolled with the following pictures. The competition is public, so anyone can apply for a few more days. 

London - Greenwich

Csillagvizsgálójáról nevezetes Greenwich a Temze déli partján fekszik, itt  találkozik a keleti és nyugati félteke, annak közepén megy át a „greenwichi délkör”, a 0° hosszúsági kör. Az egyik kedvenc helyem Londonban, ha a környéken jártok ti se hagyjátok ki. 

Greenwhich is located at the south riverside of Thames and it is famous for observatory and being the home of time, where Eastern and Western hemispheres meet. The meridian line in Greenwich represents the Prime Meridian of the world, Longitude Zero (0° 0' 0"). One of my favourite places in London, don`t miss it when you are in the neighborhood.

Tavasz Londonban

Pár napot Londonban töltöttem és ilyen gyönyörű virágokkal vannak tele a parkok, ezzel végre hozzám is elért az érzés, hogy tavasz van. A kedvenc időszakom, úgy szeretem. Töltsetek minél több időt a szabadban és élvezzétek a napsütést és persze a képeket. 

I have been in London for few days and I realized spring is here, because there are so many beautiful flowers in the park. I love it, this is my favourite season. Let`s spend more time outdoors and enjoy the sunshine and the pictures as well. 

Callendar Park

Élmény minden évszakban ellátogatni a Falkirk- ben található híres Callendar Parkba. A több mint 170 hektáros park közepén, a golf pálya és a tó között áll a  Callendar Ház, amely múzeumként üzemel, főleg történelmi tárlatoknak és kiállításoknak ad otthont. 

It is a great experience to visit the famous Callendar Park in all season, which is located in Falkirk, covering over 170 acres and housing the magnificent Callendar House, which is operated as a museum, there are exhibits mainly.

Linlithgow

Sokadik alkalommal látogattam el Linlithgow-ba, ami ezúttal is tudott újat mutatni nekem és már alig várom a következő alkalmat. Két képpel szeretném megmutatni a macskaköves utcák sajátos hangulatát. 

Bo'ness

Túrám során a Forth folyó partján található Bo'ness-i kikötőbe értem, amely látogatott hely a turisták és a helyiek által egyaránt. Tökéletes helyszín kikapcsolódáshoz, aktív pihenéshez.
